Any financial advisor?
eshie asked:
Does anyone know anything about a 10B5-1 plan? I am a financial advisor, but I can not find a lot of information on this type of plan, and my compliance department tells me “about” the plan and how to open it. Does anyone have experience with a 10B5-1 plan for insider trading?
From what I know about the plan, it is for corporate executive that are deemed “insider” and they will be able to trade there companies stock, with out a 144 file. 10B5-1 is just the SEC code. It is not a common plan, but I have a business owner that has a lot of his own companies stock, and he wants tax advantages, and the ability to sell whenever he wants. “insider” is not a illegal, it is just someone that “knows inside information” that is not public. They can own the stock, but they are restricted to how they sell. This is not for a trade “right now” but I would always like to have a plan to hedge, if something suddenly changes….like the 2000 bubble…NOTHING illegal

Travel nurse looking to hire a financial advisor. Interested or know someone?
Tri asked:
I’m looking to invest thousands of dollars of hard earned money. I am afraid to make the wrong move. I just started an assignment in a new “very small” town. I plan to go to Bank of America this week and speak with their financial advisor… BUT, I don’t want them to try to get over on me just to get the business— know what I mean? Therefore, I would like to hire someone to guide me through this process so I can know a little something when I go in to make these big decisions. Of course you will be paid for your time. Job requirements: Know more than I do about investing. Also, investment experience of your own preferred. Thanks in advance.
(Pay rate will be discussed. )

I’m looking for a remote (or online) financial advisor?
Dr.Chapa asked:
After checking many Financial Advisor search websites, I have determined that there are no good financial advisors in my area, so, I am looking for a remote (online) financial advisor that is licensed to practice in California.
Most financial planners I have called, either: (1) do not return my phone calls. (2) do not want to offer remote financial advice, or (3) require a minimum net worth of more than 500K (which I do not have).
I need to be able to correspond with the financial advisor by email and phone. Any documents and information that a financial advisor normally needs, I can send by email.
I need a financial advisor that can advise me on retirement planning, tax planning, and possibly estate planning.
If anyone knows how I can find a financial planner to help me, please let me know.
Thanks

Hiring a College Financial Advisor - where to turn?
dream_master_111 asked:
I’m seeking assistance in achieving my goal of financing my education. I am returning to school as an older student (30s) and will be attending school in the Fall. My first semester will be as a non-matriculated student taking three courses. In the Spring I will be matriculated and full-time and eligible for federal loans and scholarships. So, I am turning to the private loan market for the Fall semester to finance my tuition and living expenses. I’m trying to find an expert with experience in education finance to help me navigate and choose the best private loan option.
I don’t know if I should turn to a CFP with college planning experience, or a CCPS, or someone who bills themselves as a Financial Aid Expert, and wasn’t sure how to locate one such person.
Thank you for any information.
