Do I see a financial advisor/planner, or someone else entirely?
my_dodge_rules asked:
So I am not sure who I am supposed to use, or even if there is a difference.
I am looking for someone that can put us on a budget, and help us to plan for retirement.
Someone who would look over all of our bills and help us form the best plan of action.
So who should I be looking for? And how do I know if they are any god or not?

Indeed, you describe the services of a financial planner. You can look in your local phone book for one - often the consultation visit is free. You can even ask them for clients of theirs who can tell you about what they like or don’t like about their services. Feel free to ask them a LOT of questions. They’re used to it, and that’s what they’re there for.
there are folks that make there living doing that called planners but i believe if a person can write a complete and do basic math they can do it them selves == yes you will need a broker to handle your investments but for the things you discuss you can do to your self == it you want a few pointers email me!!!!
