    Because I felt my skills were better suited to finance than to research in chemistry. Then list your skills skills, being sure to explain how your education in chemistry fostered them. Finally, you may want to stress that you still have a layman’s interest in chemisty.

    Or, you could just be honest: Either you don’t have what it takes to conduct high-level research or you just want money and see finance as an easier route to its procurement.

    Lol, if you’re way ahead and got your graduation in 20oo6, chances are you want to contribute to the mess MBA’s are thoroughly putting into economy, no offense meant.
